Continual safety reviews in combination with internal and external audits form an integral part of Surtron Technologies' operations.  Our systems are focussed on the prevention of accidents and pollution through effective communication, training and accountability throughout the organisation.

Our philosophy is one of active participation encouraging employee input via the use of the web based Information Management System (IMS).

Key to our health and safety success are:

• A strong safety culture and a commitment to maintain the group's LTIFR well below the industry average
• Compliance with legislative requirements as a minimum
• Implementation of risk management systems such as Take 5 to identify and deal with potential work place hazards
• Supportive management and supervisors in regular contact with field staff and clients
• Use of the IQMS to submit, monitor, remedy and communicate incidents across the group
• A high level of maintenance and frequent field audits to ensure serviceability and safe operation of equipment
• Monitoring of employee competencies, updating and reviewing training where required.
• Comprehensive employee training including 1st Aid, 4WD drive and job specific courses
• Documentation of procedures and work instructions to ensure employees have the necessary references to work safely
