APPLICATION:
DEMAGS - 3CM is used to measure down-hole magnetic fields whilst approaching and moving away from off hole magnetic anomalies. Especially useful when targeting non outcropping magnetic anomalies during subsequent drilling programs. Also provides formation characterization in the form of a standard log report.
The following properties can be determined for an off hole anomalous magnetic body;
ADVANTAGES:
DEMAGS-3CM allows accurate placement of subsequent drill holes even if the first drill holes have not intersected projected targets. Provides both geological correlation and a directional survey in one run. High resolution and accurate calibration provides good data confidence.
